More money down the Drain (23.01.2008)

The EU has just announced that it wishes to charge people extra for their energy supplies, supposedly to help combat climate change. The European Commission President Mr Barroso put the figure at 60bn euros a year until 2020: "a real commitment, but not a bad deal." It would mean a rise in electricity prices of 10-15%. Huge price rises have just been announced by the energy companies, which put the average electricity bill at over £1000 a year, which would mean an extra £100 to £150 rise for the average household. The extra costs for businesses would be passed onto consumers, adding to inflation. This piece of legislation will make us all worst off, and make our lives that little bit harder.
The economic benefits of a free trade zone are nothing if the cost of that membership is so high. Britain contributes more than any other country to the EU budget, and now with the rebate going, this is even worst, the EU fine councils for recycling targets, silly laws put unnecessary burdens on our Businesses (then again so does Labour) and now it wants to charge households extra for energy.

Donations, Donations, Donations (10.01.2008)

The Labour party has recently been engulfed by donation from Cash for Honours to David Abrahams and now Peter Hain. Should we be surprised? After all a lot of legislation regarding party funding was brought in by this government and it’s this government broke these laws. Still surprised I am not. If we look at the socialist foundations of the Labour party, we can get a better understanding of why corruption is at the heart of this government. Although the Labour party knows running on a socialist mandate would be political suicide, it still maintains it characteristics. Marx believed that the workers would take control using revolution. Communist states tend to be oppressive and brutal. This shows a common trait at the heart of the ideology. Socialist believes in their own moral superiority to achieve their aims, they are willing to go to any lengths. This trait remains in the Labour party. It sees its self a better than anyone, so much so, that it can break the law. The sooner this party is out of government the better.

Old Labour, Old Tricks

A good magician can distract you with one hand, while his other hand plants his deception. Fortunately for us Gordon Brown is no magician. While his waving the Union Jack in one hand, and preaching about Britishness. He is trying to destroy Britain with the other hand. He waves a flag, yet fails to defend or comprehend any thing it stands for.

Firstly he intends to give up British sovereignty to the over bureaucratic, corrupt and socialist European Union without a referendum that his party promised in the last election. This is the constitution in all but name. Many high profile EU leaders have admitted this, except Brown. One might ask what is wrong with this. Well it’s ok if we don’t want to be a world power anymore, after all we won’t need our seat at the UN. It’s ok if we want to be part of a European super state. It’s ok if we want to continue to subsidise French farmers, while our Schools and Hospitals collapse and prisons burst.
It’s ok if we want the French to tell how and when we can work. It’s ok if we don’t EU laws to drive all our successful Businesses to Asia. I could go on. Brown may wave the Union Jack, but he is no patriot. I am a patriot and believe in a free United Kingdom, with its people free from EU dictatorship.

The European Union got confused when someone told it; it needs to be more like a business. Instead of improving efficiency, it decided it would put legislation on a production line, and mass produce. Regardless of the consequences, driving up Business costs, job losses, destroying our freedoms, and trying to run our lives. Do not be fooled by EU propaganda, and keep a eye on the schools, they want to teach pro EU lessons.
To save Britain, when Brown calls his next election, vote Conservative

Why do they need to know this?

I for one, feel this Labour Government has become big brother, gaining ever increasing amounts of information which it has no need for. One such aspect of this is government forms. All government forms are required to have questions about our ethnic background and sexuality. Why do they need to know this, surly none of this information should determine how quickly or how much of a government service I receive. I am British citizen and would expect that I am judged on my individual circumstances. The only way this information can be used is in discrimination. Some people might argue that positive discrimination can be used. This is totally wrong, all discrimination is bad. To favour one group over another is wrong; it leads to ill filling and conflict. The far right make gains from this, leading to conflict and racial tensions. The best way to achieve harmony is to focus on our common interests, rather than focusing on our differences. Due to difference being regularly being pointed out and focused on, that is what people will think about, why focus on our similarities. Most people in England would support the English football team, support democracy and dislike crime.

Below I have put this petition on the 10 Downing Street website. Just waiting approval from its administrators.

Get rid of unnecessary questions for government forms. Our skin colour or sexuality should not affect the service the government supplies.

On all government forms, we are asked about or skin colour and sexuality. The only way this information can be used is to discriminate. If I applied for a government service, I am British citizen and would expect that I am judged on my individual circumstances
